Bikeability is the new cycle training scheme for the 21st century designed to give the next generation the skills and confidence to ride their bikes on today's roads.
Cycling is healthy and fun but it's necessary to learn how to do it safely. This is why thousands of children will now have the chance to get their Bikeability award as part of a national scheme that is being rolled out across England.
As part of the ‘5 Hour Offer', the North Dorset SSP has managed to secure funding of £17,200 in the form of a grant received from the Youth Sport Trust on behalf of Cycling England, which will help subsidise delivery in schools. By working in conjunction with local leisure centres and independent deliverers we are pleased to be able to offer Bikeability level one and two courses.
